I'm Agnese, founder of Fabrique Wedding Experience and a destination wedding planner based on Lake Maggiore. My approach comes from a combination of things that might not seem immediately connected to weddings. I studied cultural and environmental heritage and later environmental law. This background taught me to look at places differently: to notice their history, their landscape, their character and also the practical realities that come with them. So when I look at a historic villa, a garden or a property on the lake, I don't see only a beautiful backdrop, I look at what makes the place work.

• What happens when a historic property has specific restrictions?

This is where local knowledge matters. I filter the possibilities, bring you the information you need and give you an honest professional opinion. You remain the one making the decisions. I make sure you have the right information to make them.

I am naturally very organised: I like clear timelines, realistic plans, well-managed suppliers and knowing what needs to happen next. But a wedding is not a project to be completed, it is an experience you are going to live. That is why I combine a structured approach with close attention to people, atmosphere and details. The structure happens behind the scenes, so you can be present for what is happening in front of you.

The right decisions make everything else easier.

I don't believe that a wedding becomes better because you have more choices. Quite often, the opposite is true. When you understand why a venue works, why a certain layout makes sense or why one solution is better suited to your guests, decisions become much easier. And when the important decisions have been made with care, there is less to worry about later.

That is what I want my couples to feel: clarity first, then confidence.
